Few Updates on Flyers Training Camp, Winter Classic Jersey

Hey all, its been awhile since the last time I wrote, only because of my new gig (which I can’t disclose) starting this October.

So, just to update everyone on some current events going on with the Philadelphia Flyers, here is a few:

1. Rookie Camp: On-Ice practices are scheduled in two sessions. The first session will run from 9:00 a.m. to noon, while the second session will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day from tomorrow September 8 through Thursday the 10th. Both sessions are open to the public and free! The Flyers rookies and the Washington Capitals rookies will square off on Friday, September 11, at 3:00 p.m.

2. The actual training camp for the veterans will begin on Sunday, Sept. 13 at the Flyers Skate Zone, in Voorhees NJ at 9am. The practice is open to the public.

3. In some merchandise news. This Friday the Flyers will be unveiling their jersey’s that they will wearing at the Winter Classic on New Years Day at Fenway Park against the Boston Bruins.

4. Single-game tickets go on-sale Septmeber 12th at 10am.

5. Comcast SportsNet’s taping of Meet the Flyers on Sunday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m. You can be in the audience! Seating is limited and will begin at 1:30 p.m. After the taping, 100 fans will be selected at random to participate in an autograph session* with select Philadelphia Flyers players.
